Description
This Area covers the climbing areas in the "High Peaks" of the Presidential Range (Mt Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Madison, Monroe and the Southern Presidentials) as well as the areas in Pinkham Notch itself, both sides of Rt 16.
Getting There
From North Conway follow Rt 16 north, bearing right at Glen and continuing on 16 through the small ski town of Jackson and up into the notch, with the Presidential Range on your left and the Wildcat/Carter range on your right.
Sub-Areas are listed, roughly, South-to-North going through the Notch up Rt 16, down to Gorham and west on Rt2.
